The inner entrepreneur: A constructivistic view of entrepreneurial reality construction
Taking a constructivistic perspective on entrepreneurship will give more comprehensive understandings of the entrepreneurial process. While there is no best answer to entrepreneurship, this article highlights the importance of factoring in the inner conditions of the entrepreneur to understand the phenomenon of entrepreneurship better. Entrepreneurs act on the basis of personalized understandings and emotions, and it is argued herein that the source of entrepreneurship is the inner conditions of the individual entrepreneur, and his/her constructed realities and identity.
