Abstract:

In this (transcribed) lecture, Laroui talkes about his own experiences as a Moroccan writer-cum-academic who has decided to spend part of his life in Europe. He offers a refreshing approach to transculturality as a transdisciplinary dialogue by highlighting common 'misunderstandings' and 'cross-cultural expectations' pertaining to Euro-African writers and their creative work.
