More than 70 delegates from over 50 companies representing all sectors of the European pest control market, including all the major research-based agrochemical companies, were present at the first European termite market conference held on 4 February in Paris. Organised by, those present soon realised that termites could no longer be thought of as an American or Far Eastern problem – they were now a real threat within Europe. Yet, with threats come opportunities – the opportunity of a new market awaiting those brave and bold enough to exploit it.
