Abstract:

Derek W Gammon and Gerald T Brooks (awardee), summarise the award and related symposium presentations given at the 233rd National Meeting of the American Chemical Society on March 27th 2007, in honour of the awardee. Dr Gammon organised the symposium for this award, which is the highest one given by the ACS Agrochemical Division.The symposium lasted for a full day and consisted of Dr Brooks' lecture and nine others by leaders in the field, including five previous winners of the award (Drs Hammock, Clark, Krieger, Ohkawa and Hodgson).
