The FDJ of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England is the official journal of the Faculty of Dental Surgery and is published four times a year in January, March, June, and October.
The principal aim of the FDJ is to provide expert opinion to inform the whole dental community on contemporary issues across the spectrum of dentistry and dental practice.
The FDJ will provide its target audience, comprised of FDS Members and Fellows, dentists in training, undergraduate dental students, and general dental practitioners with a source of accurate and reliable, timely, expert opinion. The wider aim is to provide advice, opinion and guidance across the dental community, to extend knowledge, safeguard patients and facilitate professional communication with authority and credibility. It will contain a mixture of opinion, cultural, political, professional, training and research material.
