Abstract:

In 2002 the Faculty of General Dental Practice (UK) took over the TEAMWORK series of publications, which has provided training material for dental care professionals (DCPs) since 1990 and is run alongside a network of coordinators based in the postgraduate dental deaneries. The Faculty used its presence at this year's International Dental Showcase event at the NEC in Birmingham to introduce the seventh volume in the series: TEAMWORK 7 – Guiding you through the dental NVQ. This substantial volume is tailored to the educational needs of the trainee dental nurse undertaking the national vocational qualification (NVQ) in Oral Health Care – Dental Nursing Level 3.
