Abstract:

This sixth chapter of the PAHO Book "Violence Against Women: The Health Sector Responds" presents the application of PAHO's integrated strategy for addressing Gender-Based Violence (GVB) and its lessons learned at different levels. This chapter describes the strengths and challenges that providers described in their efforts to integrate care for survivors of violence in ongoing programs.
