Abstract:

Better Health: A Handbook of Behavior Change is a one-of-a-kind manual for communities to reduce disease, disability, and premature death throughout the life cycle. This last chapter of the book presents reflections on the everyday crossroads that both individuals and groups face and the possibilities we have to achieve better health. The need of investing more in prevention and massive preventive efforts and the individual, group, family, community and State responsibilities are discusses. The author concludes listing the skills that new kinds of health workers must have to meet the demand of health needs.
