Abstract:

The evolution of the Health Promotion concept is described and studied, including the themes and key areas highlighted by the Ottawa Charter. At the same time as these new concepts and ideas in Health Promotion were being developed, one of the most serious threats to the health of population emerged, namely the identification of the HIV and AIDS.
