Abstract:

It is shown that [pgr] 1 of a finite graph of free groups with cyclic edge groups is subgroup separable unless [pgr] 1 has a non-trivial element g such that gn [sim] gm with n [ne] -m. It is easy to decide from the presentation if such a conjugacy exists.
