Abstract:Circulation of knowledge ‐ in particular international circulation of knowledge ‐ has increased over time and is now an important component of technology transfer. Well‐designed knowledge networks and markets can reduce transaction costs, enable new knowledge transfers and make existing transfers more efficient.
