A kingdom of nearly 6m people, Jordan, which is located at the crossroads between the Levantine and Arab regions, has long held the reputation of being a safe haven in a troubled region, attracting both people and capital. It is emerging as an increasingly central player in the Middle East, attempting to smooth a diplomatic path through troubled waters, while its economy is growing, the benefits of which are being enjoyed across all its different sectors. Taking the long view, King Abdullah II and his government are focusing on education, and with 60% of the population under 25, pinpointing the country's human resources is key to its future.
