Abstract:

The authors review research relevant to bequest fundraising from the fields of marketing, sociology, psychology, economics and psychiatry. They provide insight into the factors that stimulate will-making and drive bequest and charitable bequest behavior, and identify implications of these findings on the creation and targeting of bequest promotion materials. They also provide recommendations for further research.
