National Committee on Planned Giving
The National Committee on Planned Giving® is the professional association for people whose work includes developing, marketing and administering charitable planned gifts. Those people include fund raisers for nonprofit institutions and consultants and donor advisors working in a variety of for-profit settings. NCPG's mission is to increase the quality and quantity of charitable planned gifts by serving as the voice and professional resource for the gift planning community. That community includes more than 10,000 gift planners and a network of more than 130 planned giving councils in the United States, with sister organizations in Canada and Europe. NCPG publishes The Journal of Gift Planning to document and promote the philosophy and ethical practice of charitable gift planning. Each issue of The Journal contains three feature articles on topics that range from basic to technical, and a variety of shorter items that keep readers up to date on news and opinion affecting charitable gift planning. The Proceedings of the National Conference on Planned Giving include papers presented at the nation's most comprehensive conference on topics related to charitable gift planning.
