A new Humularia is described, based on four specimens from Burundi and two from Tanzania. Humularia reekmansii P.Bamps is related to Humularia multifoliolata Verdc., also from Tanzania, but it differs mainly by the lower number and smaller size of the leaflets, and the shorter corolla.
