National Association for Teaching English and other Community Languages to Adults (NATECLA)

NATECLA is the National Association for Teaching English and other Community Languages to Adults, the professional association for ESOL and Community Languages teachers. The association holds an annual conference every summer and regional training events throughout the year. NATECLA publishes Language Issues twice a year and NATECLA News four times a year. NATECLA values independence and professionalism in language education and respect for diversity and multilingualism. The association offers support and training for ESOL and community languages practitioners, expert advice to government bodies and support for campaigns which promote and protect ESOL and community languages. NATECLA has charity status, charity number 1154124.
