Abstract:

There is no doubt that global warming [1] is important; without it the Earth's surface would have a mean temperature of 33°C lower than it has currently. The IPCC [2] maintains that human activities are to blame for the observed increase in the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere since pre-industrial times. There are some doubts about whether global warming is being enhanced by the activities of the human race. This article reviews these doubts and the proposed remedies to the alleged enhancement.
