Abstract:

This paper provides a summary of some top level insights obtained from analysis of a survey of military operations research practitioners conducted by the Military Operations Research Society in late 1992 through early 1993. In this paper, data obtained from the survey is used to provide a descriptive summary of the military operations research community and how it was responding to changes in the military and political environments at the time the survey was conducted.
