Discusses General Electric (GE) and the way it has adapted and implemented strategy to changing market-place conditions. Elaborates on GE's origination from the Edison Electric Light Company set up by Thomas Edison in 1878. Shows how entrepreneurial leadership has helped the company to stimulate growth.
