Abstract:

The main features of the computer code, Intertran 2 are discussed. The methodology adopted for the assessment of radiation dose which could be received by transport workers and the public in certain situations due to radioactive shipments is briefly analysed. The advantages as well as the limitations of the code are pointed out.
