Abstract:
The standard of care that Christian health care professionals must aim for is a Christ-like compassion which forswears not only harming patients, but one which promotes and protects their well-being, alleviates their pain, and assists them in their bodily, emotional, and spiritual needs. Only this kind of medicine – so informed is it by Christian values and virtues – that will be able to resist the brave new biotech world of the future that is rapidly very much a part of our present.
