Abstract:

It has been shown that the use of the pulse plating technique (PC) allows an improvement in the electrodeposit properties. This paper deals with the optimisation of the pulse plating parameters by means of transient techniques and a measurement of the transition time ?. The introduction of reverse pulse permits reduction of the off time T_r necessary for the electrochemical system to recover its stationary value. A mathematical model to simulate the potential?time transient curves is proposed.
