Abstract:

The trajectory of materials is an important parameter in determining the impact point where the falling materials intersect with the stockline profile in blast furnace charging control. In order to clarify the trajectory of materials and validate the theoretical calculated trajectory, a 1:15 scale cold model of an actual 2500 m3 shaft and bell-less top charging system has been built. The results indicate that the experimental trajectory is consistent with the theoretical one.
