The Automation of Fishing Charts at the White Fish Authority

Abstract:
The White Fish Authority has been producing specialised charts for the fishing industry for about twelve years. The paper describes the importance of these charts to the fisherman, and how chart production has been automated in recent years. A full description of the current computer systems is given, together with flow charts of each stage of the production cycle.Document Type: Research Article
