Meconium peritonitis and parvovirus B19 infection associated with hydrops fetalis

Abstract:
Two preterm infants with non-immune hydrops fetalis associated with meconium peritonitis are reported. The first presented with a cystic abdominal mass and the second had positive parvovirus B19 serology. The association of meconium peritonitis with hydrops fetalis was through different mechanisms in each patient.Document Type: Case Report
