Oxidation of Metal Hydrides with Molecular Oxygen

Abstract:The oxidation of metal hydrides MHx in the systems M-H2-O2 (M = Ti, Zr, Sc, Y, V) with molecular oxygen was carried out, and the optimal ranges of temperature and pressure were determined. The resistivity and electron work function for the oxyhydrides synthesized were measured.
