Abstract:

The growth rate, lifetime, and maximum diameter of bubbles in a silicate melt film are measured at 770°C in an argon atmosphere with the use of a video complex consisting of a high-temperature microscope, a video camera, an input–output video card, and an IBM-486 personal computer.
