Abstract:

The magnetic shape memory effect in Ni₂MnGa films is discussed and simulated in terms of the theory of diffuse martensitic transformations. Theoretical temperature and field dependences of the film deformation are obtained. Changes in the film shape under the action of the magnetic field and temperature are calculated.
