Abstract:

It is shown that inhomogeneity of diffusion fluxes, which modifies Fick's law in chemical systems, where mono-and bimolecular reactions proceed through two intermediate components, may lead to the formation of spatial structures. Their analytic description is given on the basis of an exact solution to a set of nonlinear evolution equations. The conditions of existence are derived for time-dependent dissipative structures (limiting cycle) in the presence of nonideality of diffusion processes in the systems being considered.
