Abstract:

One of the limitations of the complex moving weighted averaging method is the requirement of a small nonuniformity of the desired frequency response in a weighted averaging frequency interval. A multistep procedure in which an averaging result is used for initial frequency dependence editing is proposed. An example of use of the proposed procedure during continuous radiation in a nonanechoic water tank is given for free-field calibration of hydrophone with a sensitivity frequency response that is nonuniform at low frequencies.
