Abstract:

About the year 2000 a gyroscope experiment will be flown in orbit to check the ‘frame dragging’ of space–time. An interferometer will also be included. The prediction is that the latter will produce fringe shifts corresponding closely with the orbital speed: not the small or null result anticipated.
