Abstract:The possible existence of faster-than-light particles, which are forbidden by the known laws of physics, have been studied by many physicists. But the existence of such particles has not been confirmed by experiments. This paper shows that faster-than-light phenomena can be permitted for highly accelerated elementary particles if they have a very small mass compared to that of the electron.
