Abstract:
We studied isolated and combined antinociceptive effects of analgesics (Analginum and Tramadol), as well as of microwave irradiation of an acupuncture point, in mice under conditions of suppression of synthesis of serotonin by an inhibitor of this synthesis, DL-p-chlorophenylalanine (p-CPA). Preliminary introduction of p-CPA weakened the antinociceptive effect of microwave irradiation and also moderated the combined effects of analgesics and microwave irradiation. Keywords: analgesia; formalin test; analgesics; microwave irradiation; DL-p-chlorophenylalanine
