Abstract:

Based on the known results obtained by Koltunov, a new special function useful in describing the viscoelastic properties of polymeric plastics and resins is proposed. New analytical and numerical results facilitating computations and the implementation of experimental work are obtained. The paper contains some basic formulations, novelties in theoretic results, useful relations, and finally fitting of the description proposed into experimental data. The further work in describing the viscoelasticity of polymeric composites by using the new special function is still in progress.
