Abstract:

Notions of disambiguation supporting a compositional interpretation of ambiguous expressions and reflecting intuitions about how sentences combine in discourse are investigated. Expressions are analyzed both inductively by breaking them apart, and co-inductively by embedding them within larger contexts.
