Abstract:
An electrode metallization is demonstrated that absorbs nearly all light incident upon it at specified wavelengths. This electrode may see application in reflective displays and spatial light modulators where stray light reflected off circuit metallization is deleterious. Reflection suppression of −35 dB is shown in a highly conductive metallization. Keywords: Thin films; optical thin films; antireflection coatings; displays
