Distributed Temperature Measurement Based on Single-Channel Anti-Stokes Light

Abstract:In relation to conventional distributed temperature measurements based on Raman scattering, this thesis proposes a new practical solution only requiring single-channel anti-Stokes light. With this solution, relative temperatures are measured, and the temperature differentiating rate of the measuring system is improved to ±1°C by temperature compensations. As a result, the cost and complexity of the system are significantly reduced.
