Abstract:
Pseudoachalasia due to adenocarcinoma is well known. We report a case of nutcracker esophagus in the setting of outflow obstruction from esophageal adenocarcinoma. Endoscopy is warranted to exclude similar lesions in patients with “pseudo-nutcracker esophagus”.Keywords: Nutcracker esophagus; Esophageal adenocarcinoma; Pseudoachalasia; Deglutition; Deglutition disorders
