Abstract:

The hybrid process and group decision-making are two critical requisites for justification of advanced manufacturing technology (AMT). This study proposes an extended analytic hierarchy process model for AMT justification, which revises the way of obtaining values of pairwise comparisons in order to take into account both tangible and intangible criteria. Additionally, in group decision, the weights of decision makers (DMs) are required while aggregating all DMs' priorities of alternatives. A novel technique for determining DMs' weights is proposed. In addition, the application of the proposed model to a Taiwanese case is used to verify the availability of this model.
