Abstract:

Let A be a noncommutative Banach algebra. Suppose there exists a continuous linear Jordan derivation D : A→A such that [D(x), x]D(x)[D(x),x] ∈ rad(A) for all x∈A. In this case, D(A) ⊆ rad (A).
