RP-HPLC determination of fissistigine A in Zuanshanfeng syrup

Objective: To develop RP-HPLC method for the determination of fissistigine A in Zuanshanfeng syrup. Methods: The separation was performed on an Agilent ZORBAX SB-C18(250 mm×4.6 mm,5 μm) column with a mobile phase of acetonitrile-water containing 0.3% triethylamine and 3% acetic acid(14: 86).The flow rate was 1.0 mL·min-1,and the detecting wavelength was 300 nm. Results: The linear range of fissistigine A was 0.048-1.19 μg,and the average recovery(n=6) was 99.8%(RSD=1.7%). Conclusion: The method is simple and accurate with good reproducibility.It can be used to control the quality of Zuanshanfeng syrup.
