HPLC determination of vitamin B6,nicotinamide and D-panthenol in 13 vitamins for injection

Objective: To establish an HPLC method for the simultaneous determination of vitamin B6,nicotinamide and D-panthenol in 13 vitamins for injection. Method: A Diamonsil C18 (250 mm×4.6 mm,5 μm) was used as separation column at 25 .The mobile phase was 20 mmol·L-1 KH2PO4 solution (adjusted to pH 5.0)-methanol (88: 12) at flow rate of 1.0 mL·min-1.Detection wavelength was set at 214 nm. Results: The linear ranges of vitamin B6,nicotinamide and D-panthenol were 0.06046-0.2418 mg·mL-1 (r =0.9997,n=5),0.3999-1.599 mg·mL-1(r=0.9996,n=5) and 0.1521-0.6084 mg·mL-1(r=0.9998,n=5),respectively.The average recoveries (n=9) of Vitamin B6,Nicotinamide and D-panthenol were 100.3%,99.9% and 99.3%,respectively. Conclusion: The method is simple,accurate,and suitable for determination of the three constituents in 13 vitamins for injection.
