Objective: The paeonol in paeonol ointment was determined by quick scan on the micro electrode. Method: The mixture of anhydrous acetonitrile and 0.01 mol·L-1 sodium hydroxide solution was used to extract paeonol in paeonol ointment under ultrasonic treatment. An sensitive oxidization peak of paeonol was obtained while used the square wave voltametry. Result: The peak current showed a good linearity within the range of 1.0×10-3-5.0×10-7 mol·L-1 with the detection limit of 1.0×10 -7 mol·L-1 of paeonol, and the regression equation was I=4.083×103C+0.002(r=0.9997). Conclusion: This method was accurate, dependable and reproducible,it may be used to determine content of paeonol on line and microchip analysis.
