HPLC determination of albendazole soft capsules and its related substances
HPLC method was established for the determination of albendazoleABZsoft capsules and its related substances.Method: The column was YMCPack ODS-A (6.0 mm×150 mm,5 μm).The mobile phase consisted of 0.125% NH4H2PO4(65:35) .The flow rate was 1.0 mL·min-1.The detection
wavelength was 254 nm,the column temperature at 35 .Injection volume was 10 μL.Results:The calibration curves were linear between 25.02-200.12 μg·mL-1(r=0.9999).The RSD was 1.2% for the precisionand the RSD for reproducibility was 1.5%.The average recovery was 99.8%,RSD=1.6%.The
limit of detection was 12 ng and the limit of quantification was 40 ng.The solution was stable within 47 h.The related substances had been studied between new product and two old productsand the result showed bigger difference.Conclusion: The method is simple,rapid,accurateand is suitable
for the determination of ABZ soft capsules and its related substances.
