To establish a limiting detection for aristolochic acid A in Xiaoqinglong mixture. Methods:HPLC,the analytical column was Kromasil C18 column (200 mm×4.6 mm,5 μm),the mobile phase consisted of methanol-water-acetic acid (62:37:1).The flow rate was 1.0 mL·min-1.The UV detection was set at 320 nm.Results:The calibration curve was good linear in the range from 1.86-371.80 ng(r=0.9998).The minimum limit of detection was 0.7435 ng.There was not aristolochic acid A in Xiaoqinglong mixture. Conclusion:The method has a good accuracy, precision and stabilization. It can be used for the quality control of Xiaoqinglong mixture.
