This paper reported the determination of Na()Mg() and Ca() in gelofusine by indirect photometric chromatography(IPC).The column was packed with spherisorb SCX(5μm,250mm×3mm).The mobile phase counterion was Ce().Detection was carried out at a wavelength of 254nm.The recoveries of ions for assay of gelofusine were:Na()98.7100.4Mg()99.4104.2Ca()98.1101.7The detection limits of Mg() and Ca() were 2.0ng and 3.2ng respectively.The IPC method is specific,sensitive,simple and rapid.
