Open Access Pressure control model on soil chamber of shield machine and its parameter identification

The pressure control model on soil chamber of shield machine was proposed based on nonlinear constitutive relationship between stress and strain of conditioned soil in soil chamber of shield machine. The parameter identification procedure of pressure control model was presented according to in-situ observed pressure on soil chamberrotating speed of screw conveyor and thrusting speed of shield machine. The practical application of proposed procedure shows that proposed pressure control model and parameter identification procedure are very effectiveand forecasted pressure on soil chamber agrees well with observed ones.
