GPR detection of open-pit landslide
Proposed a method to detect slope, that was GPR detection in openpit mine slope. The GPR detected the internal geological structure of the openpit mine slope, and then contrast the radar detected image with forward simulate and the Janbu method stability calculation results. The results
show that firstly, radar detection images of slope internal structures conform to the landslide characteristics of the exposed surface;secondly, circular arc form of stability calculation of landslide is basically identical with the radar detection images;thirdly, radar detection results also
reveals the internal potential geological defects of openpit mine slope. The research results show that GPR can detect geological structure and internal defects in openpit mine slope.
