Abstract:

As of January 1, 2012, hospitals will have to comply with revised Performance Improvement Standard PI.02.01.03, element of performance 1: “The hospital achieves a composite performance rate of at least 85% on the ORYX accountability measures transmitted to The Joint Commission.“ The following explains how composite performance rates are calculated.
