Abstract:

The Joint Commission does not expect or want nursing students to “disappear” when our surveyors arrive unannounced. Dr. Geraldine Bednash and Julie Morath, RN—members of The Joint Commission's Nursing Advisory Council—provide insights and tips on how to include nursing students in the accreditation process in a way that will advance their knowledge and skill.
